Situational baseball — bunts, relays, cutoffs and calling a smart game.
Game IQ
Talent gets you on the field; decisions win you games. Basic Tactics is the Mudhens classroom-and-diamond program for situational baseball: when to bunt, where the relay goes, how to set a cutoff, how to run the bases aggressively without running into outs.
Half of each session is whiteboard and video — real Mudhens game footage, paused at the decision point — and half is live situational scrimmage where coaches freeze the play and ask: what now?

Both, every week. Thirty minutes of film and whiteboard, then an hour of live situational reps where the learning sticks.
Players 11 and up who already throw and catch reliably. Younger players build those tools first in Basic Defense.
Absolutely — the monthly Coaches Clinic is free and covers the same situational system so your team plays Mudhens baseball too.
